My name is Morgan. In May of this year I went in to see Dr Stephenson at UC Davis. The doctor noticed something did not look right in my breast. I still did not think much of it and the worst thing I was worried about is how top surgery would come out. Well they then sent me in for a Mammogram. I failed the mammogram and they tried a different kind of mammogram. I failed that too. They then had me come in for an ultrasound biopsy which showed I have Breast Cancer and it is Invasive Ductal Carinoma. Additionally it is HER2/Neu positive. The next thing which happened is I had to go see Dr Bold, the surgical oncologist. He sent me out for chest and abdomen ct scans. The kidney, lung, and liver had secondary breast cancer in them. They then did a liver biopsy and I came out positive for secondary liver cancer. There is also a site on the lung and the kidney.
So here is the deal. My friends and support are more than happy to take me. The downside is most of them are on fixed incomes, placing them with a sincere financial hardship. I live in Lodi, they live in Stockton, and we are driving to Sacramento several times a week. Help with gas would certainly be a blessing.
Secondly, as the chemo progress' I won't have the money in my budget to pay for the boosters and healthier foods I must eat. My immune system is going to keep dwindling through this progress which will last at very least a year.
I don't want anyone to donate more than they are comfortable with or would hurt them paying their bills. Every tiny bit helps.. no donation is too small.
