Mural project :Angeles vs Cancer

Hello my name is Rick , I am a Miami based artist and have been doing murals for over 10 years but this is not about me...its about  my subject Angeles ..i discovered Angeles by chance through social media about 6 months ago , a very outgoing and driven individual who is currently battling cancer . Angeles was diagnosed 1 year ago this month with breast cancer...just one day before her birthday, over the the last year she has been through a long process of painful and life changing treatments , at the same time she has been making noise in the world of fashion and style, if you were to see her in person your first guess is that shes some type of curator/creative professional ...or artist , she is just that . Angeles is a stylist and has a really interesting glow about her , despite all her hardships from health issues she keeps her heart in what she loves and makes amazing things happen , for example in December she was invited for a christmas dinner at the White House where she was able to sit and talk with the first Lady and influentials like Iris Apfel. I truly believe that happiness can be an effective and proactive step in any type of treatment...and moments like that can help. I would like to paint Angeles on a wall in the design district, i feel like she is a great example of someone who refuses to succumb to her conditions and continues to pursue what truly makes her happy in a somewhat superficial industry where looks and style are everything, Angeles embraces it all ...loosing her hair and  using that to her advantage to stand out as an individual who radiates positive energy really caught my attention and inspired me to want to share this message on a larger scale in a place where it would make sense ...on nw 40th street and North Miami ave there is a huge facade of a building that no longer is standing ...it looks like a giant living room and i feel its the perfect place for our mural to come to life, the money donated to fund this project will cover all materials, like Electric lift , and a whole lot of paint/ spray paint... this wall is about 3 stories high....in the end the neighborhood will have a new well thought out mural instead of another wall covered with posters and tags , this mural will be a message to woman fighting this disease ... the message is stay focused and full of happiness and the rest will follow, i truly hope this project helps put a permanent smile on Angeles and inspires more woman going through the same struggle . As an artist who has painted murals for all types of causes and brands , this will be my biggest and most meaningfull mural on this side of town , and not just another pretty picture with no Substance , please help us make this a reality ! we would like to hit our goal within a month.
