Bolshoi Ballet Academy!

Donation protected

Hello!
My name is Alysha Reimel. I am 17 years old, and I am an aspiring ballerina. I have just been invited to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy's traineeship program in Moscow, Russia!
This summer, I went to the Bolshoi Ballet Academy's Summer Intensive in NYC and it was from this summer intensive that I was asked to attend the traineeship program in Moscow, Russia. Not many people are asked to go to Russia to train and I was picked! I can tell you that I was so suprised that I still cannot believe it!
It all started when I watched Riverdance on PBS with my Mom and Dad when I was four. Right then and there, I knew I had to dance. So, my Mom put me in a ballet class. From then on, I knew I had to become a professional ballerina! I have been taking ballet for 13 years and I have loved every moment of it. I remember when people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would always answer, "A professional ballerina." I have never strayed from that answer. I have been working hard all my life so I could one day be on a big stage performing and telling stories to people from all over the world through my dancing. Everytime I perform, it is like I am giving a little peice of myself to the audience. It gives me such an unbelievable feeling when I dance, that I really cannot explain it.
Right now, I am studying at the Academy of Russian Classical Ballet in Wixom, MI under the direction of Sergey Rayevskiy, a graduate of the Vaganova Ballet Academy in St. Petersburg, Russia. The Academy of Russian Classical Ballet has been voted one of the best classical ballet schools in Michigan for their pre-professional training.
My whole family has supported me in every way that they can. They have sacrificed so much for me and my career. My Mom drives with me everyday to Wixom for a round trip of 2 hours so that I can dance for 3 and half to 4 hours a day at ARCB. My Dad works his butt off so I can dance and my brother has gone to more than his fair share of ballets because I was in them! And all my other family, especially my grandparents, in which I could do nothing without. I can't thank them enough!
The Bolshoi Ballet Academy traineeship tuition covers ballet classes, housing, 4 meals a day, and Russian language classes. During the year, I will be taking online classes so I can still graduate with a Grosse Ile High School diploma.
Tuition is paid twice a year, the first $11,000 is due before I go in October and the second half is due before January 15th. Truly a donation of any amount will help, large or small.    Please help me achieve my dream of attending this prestigious and well-renowned ballet school in Russia and to ultimately become a professional ballerina by donating and sharing my story.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate all your help!
