Help Jeff get cancer treatment

As a lot of my friends and family know, I have researched alternative healing since the early 80's when I was told I would have to have artificial knees, hips, and shoulders because I was diagnosed with avascular necrosis. This is caused by a lack of blood flow to the end of the bone and socket. This causes the bone to die and start crumbling. None of them have been replaced because I found things that have really helped me. I have had 8 shoulder and 6 knee surgeries because of this condition. I have probably spent $200,000 out of my pocket. I had to declare bankruptcy and I lost my house. I started having trouble with my prostate late in 2012. With no health insurance, I tried every alternative I knew of but it kept getting worse. I just got health insurance in May 2014 and went to a Doctor and found out the prostate cancer has spread to my bones, spine, and liver. After the doctor told me the chemo/treatment plans, I asked him what my life expectancy would be with this treatment and his answer was 19 months is average. I think my life expectancy would be greatly increased by treatment that uses a lot of the same components(chemo) but first they hospitalize you and a fever is induced. The fever kills a high percentage of the cancer cells and weakens the remaining cancer cells so that chemo is more effective. They try to find the original cause of the cancer which could help in treatment. Depending on what they find out, it could help my relatives also. Insurance will not pay for this treatment because inducing a fever is not approved by the FDA. That is why the inpatient fever therapy is in Mexico and the outpatient is in California. When I first read about this treatment the only place it was done was in Germany and ex-presidents and celebrities have gone there to be treated. I have faxed all of my test results to the doctor in California and he said he can help me. He also said If I can't get there within the next 3 weeks then I should start treatment here because it is important that I get treatment as soon as possible.
