Appalachian Trail Thru-Hike 2015

We (Vincent Cassidy, Arin Miller, and Chris Lawhorne) are going to thru-hike Appalachian Trail this spring. We are beginning at the end of March and hiking 2189.2 miles northbound from Georgia to Maine in (hopefully) 125 days. However, the more money we raise here, the smaller our financial burden. In exchange for your contribution, you'll get access to our video blog covering our progress in our journey, plus one lucky donor will get a free pizza.
The breakdown of cost is approximately:
$15ish/day per person on food ≈ $5700
Hostel stays/laundry/showers ~ $600
Travel expenses home from Maine > $1200
Allotment fo unforeseen expenses in case something goes wrong = $500?
We're going to try to raise as much money on our own as we are able, but any contribution you can provide would be stellar.
