Hey all,
Reaching out one last time for some mutual aid if at all possible. Read on for good news and how you can help us if you are so inclined.
GREAT news! After being essentially homeless for the last 2.5 years, we were finally accepted for an apartment literally right next to our job. As of now, we are slated to move in December 1st, but that's where you come in. Thanks to car repairs, having to meet our basic needs, and getting the pets vetted in preparation for getting the place, we are now a bit tight. I know things are tight with holidays coming up, but if anyone would like to bless us, we would be eternally grateful.
When we had to flee, we had to leave a lot behind, so we are essentially starting from scratch. I still have my kitchen stuff and I have couches, but we don't have a bed, dresser, or any dining area furnishings, so any help will go towards our deposit and those things. I would love to have a bed to sleep in our first night at home.
The breakdown is as follows (for transparency's sake):
$2,250 - due moving day
$75 - U-Haul & supplies
$250 - food and gas to get us by the next 2 weeks
Looking to cover just a little bit of the deposit and enough to cover our expenses until we get moved in so the process is a little less stressful.
We are so very excited for this next chapter. If you've known us the last few years, this has been a LONG time coming. Thanks so much for reading if you made it this far, and thank you to all of you who've shown us love and support when we needed it the most. We can never express how much it means to us. ❤️❤️❤️
