Justice for Chef X

Hi, my name is Staci, and I am helping the Brown family to raise money to offer a reward for information about the murder of Chef Xavier Brown.

 

Chef X (Xavier) was an outstanding young man with a contagious smile. Throughout school Chef X was an exceptional athlete, mainly playing football, and also was a pretty darn good wrestler.   

 

Chef X grew up in North Chesterfield and graduated from Monacan High School in 2017.  He attended VSU on a football scholarship before deciding he really wanted to pursue a career as a Chef.   Chef X was an up-and-coming chef in the Richmond area.  Recently, he started his own private catering business and also delivered his homemade meals to the community.

 

Tragically, just after 2 am on Saturday, May 21, Chef X was found shot to death in Shockoe Bottom (downtown Richmond, VA).

We have learned that Friday night, X had been working as a guest Chef at a local restaurant.   He received a call inviting him to another event as they had a free table for another Chef at the event.   As we all take advantage of opportunities to put ourselves out there when trying to build a customer base, Chef X jumped on the opportunity.   He was leaving that event to head home for the night when he was followed by a man, who the police believe was trying to rob Chef X.   Something went wrong and resulted in X being shot.  

 

So we need your help!  We are building a reward fund so it can be offered for any information that will lead to the arrest and conviction of this individual (photo coming soon).   Shockoe Bottom is known for its nightlife with many very popular clubs.   Someone had to have seen something.

 

It has also been decided, that we also want to build this into a scholarship fund in X's memory.   The fund would provide a scholarship for any young man or woman who wishes to pursue an education in the culinary arts.   

 

Please help us get justice for Chef X and help us build a fund for The Chef X Experience Scholarship.
