Hi there! My name is Nick and I have a podcast called WHO WRITES THIS STUFF where each episode I talk with another creative person for a bit (be it a musician, songwriter, actor, comedian, author, film maker, etc.)
When I started it, I had a vision for what I'd like the podcast to be, which is a fun, interesting, flowing conversation with cool, creative people that will hopefully help, inspire, encourage, and entertain those who are also interested in pursuing their creative passions. So far that's been the case...which is AMAZING! But also I have a vision of how it would SOUND, and it's not been ideal. I have the equipment I have because it's all I can afford currently and it's...decent, but not great. So often if podcasts sound poor (audio-wise) it can interfere or distract the listener and recently has started turning off potential future guests as well. That's so sad to me! But I've had no alternative...
Until NOW! I've priced the gear and audio equipment I need to have a TOP rate sounding podcast, and decided to put it YOU, the ever so attractive, bright, good smelling listener/supporter for help. So take a look at the reward levels and choose one that's to your liking--you can even be a guest on the very show that you're helping improve!
It would be so much easier for me to just quit doing the podcast altogether. I don't get paid from it at all--it actually COSTS me money to do it. But I love it. I think it's important, not just to me but to any one out there who is pursuing creative things and feels like no one understands them, or thinks that they're alone in their pursuits, or for those who don't have people in their life who will encourage them to create. I know the podcast does these things because fans of the show have told me so. I'm blown away by those we've already reached, entertained, and encouraged. Help us keep it going (and make it sound as good as possible in the process!)
