Our adoption journey

My husband & I along with our soon to be adopted child will be benefiting from the funds that comes from this gofundme.  The funds will be used for our attorney who will be doing the adoption. As of right now we don't have a set court date for the adoption because everything is still in the process of being transferred to our region. The support will mean more than enough to us because this journey has been a long process and we will be more than grateful for all the help that we get. Our soon to be adopted son was born on June 5,2018 and we got the call from dcbs the following day asking if we would consider taking in a newborn baby boy and of course we went home discussed the whole situation then that evening June 6,2018 we called them back and told them that we would love to take him into our loving home so on June 7,2018 we brought this precious baby boy named ezrahir home. we were told that he would most likely be in our custody for about a week to a month but all of that led into him staying with us permanently and we went to court in November of 2019 and got told that the goal is being changed from permanency to adoption. We have been trying for a while to have a child of our own with nothing happening due to medical conditions. This precious child is the best gift from god that we could ever ask for and the whole waiting process has been worth every bit of the waiting game. Any amount will help us get close to our goal.
