~Two sisters both lose the father of their children in the same day in two separate tragic incidents~8/15/14 is a day that changed both their lives forever....please read their stories.

It is with sadness and heartache that these two sisters are going through the same tragedy that struck them both on the same day.

Katie and Chrissy are sisters who have been each other's best friends throughout their whole lives. They've shared many laughs, pranks, they have the same friends, and when one needs help the other is there to assist.

Unfortunately they BOTH NEED OUR HELP RIGHT NOW.

Leo Duran - Suffered a massive heart attack on Friday 8/15/14, on life support until 8/19/14 and took his last breath on Wednesday 8/20/14 (35 years old)
On Friday Morning approximately 9am Friday August 15th Chrissy's husband Leo suffered a massive heart attack. Obviously distraught Chrissy called 911 and her sister Katie to come and help her perform CPR. Without question Katie flew over to Chrissy's house and took over the CPR while Chrissy gave details to emergency services.
Paramedics arrived and he was transported to the ER where CPR was performed for nearly an hour. Later in the ICU they had established that unfortunately there was no brain activity in our dear friend Leobardo Duran. Family and friends gathered to pray and say goodbye. He passed peacefully on Wednesday morning 8/20/14.
If you knew Leo...you would know this man never sits still (Unless it's for tacos) lol. He was THE MOST productive man in this family. Not a day went by that he was not working and I personally think he could fix ANYTHING.
Leo leaves behind his wife Christine Aguilar of whom he's loved unconditionally for over 15 years. They were each other's soul mates. They made a great team and always were on the same page of FAMILY FIRST. Leo also leaves behind two loving sweet caring young boys Victor (7 years old) and Ethan (3 years old). These boys are everything Leo could have ever had wanted to add to his family with Chrissy. They are a replica of him for kindness and determination to figure things out. The love and knowledge he instilled in these boys will be everlasting to help provide for their mom. There are many more family members that Leobardo is survived by between his family and his wife's family - he was a loved man.

Later Katie took Chrissy's sons home with her while Chrissy stayed at the hospital with her husband.

Zac Kirk - Died in a fatal motorcycle accident on Friday 8/15/14 Friday (23 years)
On that very same night as the above tragic event at approximately 8:45pm Friday August 15th Zac Kirk does what he typically does and decided to go out for a motorcycle ride. Katie told him "be safe" Zac replied "Of course I will, I have you and 2 daughters to come home to" Unfortunately his ride came to a quick end when an SUV turning left into a parking lot could not predict the speed in which the motorcycles were going. Zac and his buddy Jason came to an abrupt halt slamming into the passenger side of the SUV.
Zac's life ended immediately on impact.
Zac loved all things outdoors and his project truck. It has been promised by his buddies to finish and complete in memorial of Zac Kirk. Zac leaves behind two grieving families. He is survived by his parents John and Linda Kirk, and his sister Toni Edwards. Zac is also survived by Katie Aguilar and their 8 month old baby girl Katelynn. They are also expecting a 2nd daughter this November.
After performing CPR on her brother in law earlier that morning to be watching the news to learn that within 12 hours of that tragic event that Zac was killed instantly and she has now become a single mother to her 8 month old daughter Katelynn and will deliver another beautiful baby girl of Zac's in November is heartbreaking.

I felt this story was necessary to tell so that you can understand the severity of the loss of two providers. Two sisters both lost the father of their children in the same day. Expenses with the loss of both their children’s father matched with the tragedy of it happening in the same day to two amazing sisters’ takes some adjusting and any help for their kids would be appreciated.

I am not just asking for help from their friends and family. I am asking for the help from the community, the World Wide Web, friends of friends. Share this and please anything $1.00 $5.00 $10.00 it WILL add up.

~Thank you~
