Help grow our family

Thank you for taking the time to read this and for considering  donating to our cause.
We are the Cavendish family. Chris, Gallit and Calliope. We own a small organic farm on the coast of Maine. We feel very fortunate to live and work in such an amazing state doing what we love, growing healthy food for a lot of people. We love our job as farmers but the truest joy in our lives is our six year old daughter Calliope.

We are asking for help to grow our family through invitro fertilization (IVF).

Its a long,  beautiful, and sad story. In short, our son Elon was born 2 1/2 years ago and eight days later he passed away.
Elon was born with severe brain damage due to complications with a long and tramatic labor.
The first time I saw my son after having emergency surgery he was hooked up to all kinds of wires, he was so big, so beautiful.
We were not able to hold him untill his sixth day when we-surrounded by the love of our families-removed him from life support.
Elon lived off of life support for two days. We held him, we named him, we sang and read to him. We tried to pour a life time of love into him. On his eighth day he died being lovingly held by his papa. Chest to Chest.                                                       Heart to Heart.


With a brokenness beyond our own recognition we started trying to get pregnant again just three months after Elon died.

I have not been able to get pregnant again.

Following a long time of exploring our options we are trying to grow our family through IVF.
I know that we are asking for a lot of money but at my age my fertility treatments are very costly.
