Jade Leonard Funeral Fund

Please take time to read about one of the most high spirited young men I have ever known. Jade was going to be in 5th grade this year at Mosheim. On registration day, Aug. 5th, he was so excited to be back in school. He went through the halls talking to his old teachers as well as not staying where his new teachers were telling him to (that was Jade). He told us about the new laptop he got over the summer and was smiling from ear to ear. That smile will never be forgotten by so many because God's plan wasn't for Jade to finish this school year. On Aug. 7 Greene County was out of school for an Administrative Day. That's the day we heard of Jade's accident. Jade was playing outside on a rope behind his house. He had his dad put up this rope so he could practice climbing. Jade wanted nothing more than to be the fastest one to climb to the top. But that day, he was standing on a toy and slipped catching the rope around his neck. His dad realized he was quiet, so looked for him and found him. Jade was rushed to the hospital and then by helicopter to Niswonger Children's Hospital. He never woke up from this tragic accident. But Jade's dad knew what Jade would want and has donated Jade's organs to bring miracles to so many other people. Jade's memory will always live in our hearts, and now this miracle child is blessing so many other families for years to come.

Frank is a single dad whose life revolved around this ray of sunshine. As a community of friends let's pull together to help him pay for this funeral.
