LOSING OUR LOCKS FOR LYNDSEY

Just last week we were told the most devastating news about our good friend Lyndsey. Trying to come to terms with this news, we asked ourselves, What can we do to help? We have decided to host a benefit night this November. On this night we are also going to 'Lose our locks for Lyndsey'. All 3 of us will be having our hair shaved off to raise money and show our support for Lyndsey.
In August 2014, Lyndsey and her families world was turned upside down and at just 27 years of age Lyndsey was diagnosed with stage 2 secondary liver cancer. Doctors are 99.9% certain that it commenced as breast cancer, but is now in her blood and travelling throughout her body. Unfortunately, with this type of cancer, it is terminal. Chemotherapy treatment has been begun to buy Lyndsey some more time to make more precious memories with her loved ones.
Lyndsey has been married to her loving husband Ben for 2 years and is a wonderful and admired mother to 5 year old Nyah. Lyndsey also worked hard and is a Director of a local preschool, where she not only enriches the lives of the children that attend there but also the staff that work with her. Those that personally know Lyndsey know how beautiful, caring and kind hearted she is, always ready with a smile and a laugh.
Our goal for this fundraiser and benefit night is $27,000. $1,000 for every year of Lyndseys life lived so far. All money raised will go to Lyndsey, Ben and Nyah, to try and ease at least 1 worry from their minds. If you are able to, please contribute to the fund to financially support Lyndsey, Ben and little Nyah through this time.
