Family Man in need of Help

Hi my name is Tamara and I have been married to the man of my dreams for the last two years. Yesterday my world came crashing down around me when I received a call telling me that my husband was being medivacced to Edmonton with a brain issue. I being in Nova Scotia where we reside with our three kids, was totally devastated, I had no idea of what to do. I caught a flight, leaving two of our children in Nova Scotia and one in fort McMurray with their grandparents, to be by my husbands bedside. As I arrived in Edmonton at the U of A, I was informed that my husband has been diagnosed with AVM and an Aneurysm and he suffered a bleeding stroke! Wow! That was tough to hear! As I sit here writing I am awaiting news as Shawn is in surgery. I am praying that all goes well but the doctors say it will be a long road to recovery. Shawn works for a sub contractor in fort McMurray and currently doesn't have any medical benefits. As I said earlier we are a long ways from home and we will struggle to keep up with everyday expenses, let alone to put an extended stay in Edmonton without any income on top of that. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone out there would help us in our time of need. Thanks!! Tamara.
