Rest in Peace Papa Pak

In 2002, my daddy was diagnosed with a rare type of tongue cancer. After multiple surgeries, chemotherapy sessions, and radiation therapy sessions, he was in remission for 8 years. In late 2010/early 2011, he was re-diagnosed with tongue cancer. Since January 2014, the cancer began to metastasize to his lungs, kidneys, and large intestine as well as giving him scoliosis, multiple tumors, and pneumonia. From thinking that he had at least a month left to seeing his life end before our eyes within 12 hours, it breaks my heart to announce that on August 15, 2014--his long 3 year battle with cancer has come to an end. 

Now with just the three of us left learning how to live a life without this incredibly special man--my mom, my brother, & myself are in need of your financial support. What we didn't expect/know was how expensive everything would be from the mausoleum space to the funeral itself and everything in between. We are aware that everyone has their own financial struggles & we wouldn't ask if we really didn't need it to help us thrive & survive.

So to my family, friends, and anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer or has a loved one who is still fighting...please, on behalf of a man who had the will to live, I am asking for donations to help us reach our goal and/or surpass it. Big, small--it doesn't matter. At this point, every dollar counts. And although at this time, we are unable to provide anything in return, we promise that when the time comes and you are in need of our support--we will reciprocate. 

& if you are unable to donate, we appreciate your time and just ask that you spread the word to anyone you know who will be willing to help us out.
