<div>Les personnes intersexes font face à des situations de grande précarité qui s’aggravent ces dernières années. Du fait des violences sociales et médicales subies, elles sont particulièrement vulnérables, que ce soit économiquement, en termes de santé, ou encore du fait de leur isolement. Nombreuses sont celles qui ont urgemment besoin de soutien financier pour survivre.

<div>Lorsque leur intégrité physique et leurs droits sont menacés, certaines d'entre elles fuient leur pays. Les routes migratoires sont extrêmement dangereuses, d’autant plus pour les personnes intersexes qui se trouvent à l’intersection de nombreuses discriminations : intersexophobie, homophobie, racisme, validisme, etc. Les difficultés ne s’arrêtent pas à la traversée mais continuent dans les pays d’accueil : le soutien est alors crucial.

<div>Concernées ou non par l'exil, ces situations exigent souvent une aide d'urgence.

<div><em>Aggravation depuis les décrets de Trump</em>

<div>Ce besoin croissant de soutien financier dans le monde est en lien direct avec les subventions en faveur de l'aide humanitaire et internationale coupées par le gouvernement de Donald Trump depuis le début de l’année 2025. L’arrêt des aides financières états-uniennes a un effet alarmant sur l’aide de première urgence et réduit le financement des organisations de défense des droits humains, affectant aussi celui des associations intersexes locales. Nous devons aujourd’hui plus que jamais faire fonctionner la solidarité internationale.

<div><em>Lancement du fonds de solidarité internationale (FS2I) </em>

<div>L'engagement de nos fonds propres ne suffit plus à répondre aux demandes urgentes d'aide internationale que nous recevons. Nous avons donc besoin de fonds extérieurs pour mettre en place le fonds de solidarité internationale.
</div>
<div>C’est pourquoi nous avons créé une plateforme en ligne qui permet à la fois de faire des dons et de recevoir de l’argent. N’importe qui peut donner. Les dons sont destinés aux personnes intersexes à l’international et aux personnes intersexes étrangères en France.
</div>
<div>Pour nous assurer de couvrir les besoins, en plus des dons privés individuels, nous faisons appel à la générosité des fondations privées et organisations philanthropiques qui partagent les valeurs de solidarité internationales, liberté de circulation, et soutien aux personnes intersexes et membres des communautés LGBTQIA+. L’objectif est de réunir 100 000€ en 2025.

<div><strong>Le fonctionnement du fonds de solidarité internationale :</strong>

<div>L’argent disponible sur la plateforme sert à couvrir les frais des personnes intersexes en grande précarité à l’international ou exilées en France. Les frais couvrent des urgences vitales incluant : des frais médicaux, de logement, de nourriture, des frais liés aux parcours migratoires, autres au besoin. <strong>Concernant les parcours migratoires, nous les soutenons quels qu’en soient les motifs et situations administratives. </strong>
</div>
<div>Pour nous assurer de répartir les dons avec le plus d’équité possible, l’accès au fonds est cadré par des critères de demande et des plafonds correspondants aux différents critères. Nous pouvons ainsi établir de manière transparente un bilan fléché de chaque don attribué à ses bénéficiaires.

<div>90% de l’argent obtenu est dédié aux personnes intersexes à l’international. Les 10 % restants vont aux frais de fonctionnement du fonds. À terme, nous souhaitons rendre ce fonds entièrement autonome.

<div>Le Collectif Intersexe Activiste est la seule association par et pour les personnes intersexes en France. C’est une organisation qui défend les droits des personnes intersexes via un travail de plaidoyer, des formations pédagogiques, des actions culturelles, le soutien aux personnes concernées et à leurs familles, etc.

<div>Nous avons pour objectifs le respect de l’intégrité physique et sexuelle des personnes intersexes, la pleine information des personnes concernées et leurs familles, la formation des personnels en contact avec les personnes intersexes, et l’autodétermination de genre pour toustes.

<div>Depuis janvier 2025, nous développons un programme de solidarité internationale. L’objectif est de soutenir les personnes intersexes dans le monde dans leurs besoins spécifiques : logement, santé physique et mentale, parcours d’exil, mise en contact avec des organisations intersexes locales.

<div>Un poste rémunéré est dédié à la coordination du programme, dont la gestion du fonds de solidarité internationale.

<div><strong>Why intersex people need financial support internationally:</strong>

<div><em>Intersex people and precarity around the world</em>
</div>
<div>Intersex people face highly precarious situations, worsening in the past few years. As a result of the social and medical violence suffered, they are particularly vulnerable, whether economically, in terms of health, or because of their isolation. Many urgently need financial support to survive.
</div>
<div>When their physical integrity and their rights are threatened, some of them flee their country. The migratory routes are extremely dangerous, even more so for intersex people who find themselves at the intersection of numerous discriminations: intersexophobia, homophobia, racism, ableism, etc. The difficulties do not end with the crossing of borders but continue in the host countries: support is therefore crucial.

<div>Whether or not they are affected by exile, these situations often require emergency assistance.

<div><em>A situation worsening since Trump's decrees</em>
</div>
<div>This growing need for financial support around the world is directly related to the cuts to humanitarian and international aid subsidies by Donald Trump's government since the beginning of 2025. The cessation of US financial aid has an alarming effect on emergency aid, reducing funding for human rights organizations, including local intersex associations. Now more than ever, we need to make international solidarity work.

<div><strong>Launching of the International Intersex Solidarity Fund (2ISF - or FS2I in French)</strong>
</div>
<div>Committing our own funds is not enough anymore to meet the urgent requests for international aid that we are receiving. We therefore need external funds to set up the international solidarity fund.
</div>
<div>This is why we are creating an online platform that allows to both donate and receive money. Anyone can donate. Donations are intended for intersex people internationally and foreign intersex people in France.
</div>
<div><em>To ensure that we cover the needs, in addition to individual private donations, we appeal to the generosity of private foundations and philanthropic organizations that share the values of international solidarity, freedom of movement, and support for intersex people and members of the LGBTQIA+ communities. The objective is to raise €100,000 by the end of 2025.</em>

<div><em>How the international solidarity fund works:</em>
</div>
<div>The money available on the platform is used to cover the costs of intersex people in very precarious situations internationally or exiled in France. The costs cover vital emergencies including: medical, housing, food, costs related to migration journeys, and others as needed. Regarding migration journeys, we support them regardless of the reasons and administrative situations.
</div>
<div>To ensure that donations are distributed as fairly as possible, access to the fund is governed by application criteria and thresholds corresponding to the different criteria. This enables us to transparently establish a detailed breakdown of each donation allocated to its beneficiaries.

<div>90% of the money raised is dedicated to intersex people internationally. The remaining 10% goes towards the fund's operating costs. Ultimately, we want to make this fund fully self-sufficient.

<div>Here is how the different categories of financial support are distributed:

<div><strong>Who are we?</strong>

<div>The Collectif Intersexe Activiste is the only association by and for intersex people in France. It is an organization that defends the rights of intersex people through advocacy work, educational training, cultural activities, support for those affected and their families, etc.

<div>Our objectives are the respect for the physical and sexual integrity of intersex people, full information for those concerned and their families, training for staff in contact with intersex people, and gender self-determination for all.

<div><em>The international solidarity program:</em>
</div>
<div>Since January 2025, we have been developing an international solidarity program. The aim is to support intersex people around the world in their specific needs: housing, physical and mental health, exile, contact with local intersex organizations.

<div>A paid position is dedicated to the coordination of the program, including the management of the international solidarity fund.
