Bodyshot Brock Goes for the Gold

Demond Brock is looking for sponsors to help him compete in the 2012 USA Boxing National Championship, a qualifier for the 2012 London Olympics! Brock has been boxing since 2002 and is the 2011 Ringside World Champion. He discovered his boxing talent while incarcerated, winning 39 out of the 40 fights in which he competed.

Brock learned through boxing that you should never give up on your dreams. Since his release in June 2011, Brock has been competing locally and nationally. He is also a beloved boxing trainer for kids and adults in New Orleans. At this point, Brock's main focus is to pursue his dreams and make a difference in people's lives in New Orleans and around the world. Brock has shown that no matter where you are in life, you can accomplish great things with hard work and dedication. The 2012 USA Boxing National Championships will be contested, February 27-March 3 at the Fort Carson Special Events Center near Colorado Springs, Colo. The annual tournament will be a critical piece of the qualifying process for male athletes for the 2012 Olympic Games in the seven non-qualified weight divisions. The champions will all earn the right to represent the United States in the final international Olympic qualifier in Brazil in May.
