Hello! I’m writing this today because one of my best friends/band mates/and generally one of the coolest people I know, just got screwed. Hard.
The wind storm we had in Maryland recently knocked a tree over at his house... which knocked over a power line pole.... which then dropped the high voltage lines on his car and incinerated it. The car was burned completely to the ground with all of his bass equipment inside.
Not ONE insurance policy or BGE will cover any of it.
So Scott, who is a professional musician, has no gear, no way to get to gigs, and absolutely zero financial assistance to get his life back together.
I’m trying to raise ten thousand dollars for Scott. That will get him a decent car, equivalent music gear, and put some money towards the thousands it’s going to cost to remove the tree and to tow the molten remains away.
Throw him a couple bucks, he’d do it for you.
