Help Eric repair his home!

Hello everyone! This is my friend Eric, who lives in Millville, NJ. I am creating this campaign for him because he needs help, and is the type of person who would never ask for money or help with something like this -- but he won't be able to do it on his own.
Tuesday night much of the area got two months worth of rain in about 2 hours time. I went to his house that night while rain water was rushing into his house to try to help. I parked more than a block from his house, and water was almost to the top of my legs before I made it to his front door.
As you can see from the picture on the right, that is Eric's basement that night, with over 8 feet of muddy water in it. His electrical panel (which is in his basement) fried. His HVAC system(which is in his basement) is ruined. His hot water heater, ruined. A lot of his personal items are ruined. All of the drywall, ruined. He will have problems with mold. He will more than likely have structural problems.
Eric called his insurance company the next morning, and an adjuster came to his house. He was told all together he has at least $25,000 worth of damage. He was told that since he does not have flood insurance, he was basically on his own. Eric doesn't live in a flood zone, and this is his first home.
That night, since Eric couldn't stay at his house (the fire department evacuated him), someone smashed in his back door trying to loot his house from the storm. Luckily they didn't get anything, as his neighbor scared them off...but to add insult to injury, now he needs a new back door.
All of this comes just one month after Eric had to have his roof replaced since it was damaged in a hail storm less than two months ago. He really can't catch a break -- so let's help him soften the blow!
