Fundraiser for Christa & her Donor

Many of you know that in March 2014, my body began to reject the kidney that my mom donated to me 12 years ago. After several hospitalizations, medication and diet changes, I'm starting the pre-transplant process again. With my health as it is, I am unable to go back to school or nanny my nephew, so my financial situation is pretty bad. I do get a disability check every month, but it doesn't even cover my rent. So many of you have reached out and asked how you can help (which I appreciate SO much). Some of my friends have suggested that I start this page to raise money for rent, Ensure (I drink 4 a day!), gas to get to and from hospital appointments, etc... I want to thank everyone for the words of encouragement and support these past 6 months. Thank you, in advance, for helping me. Hopefully it will alleviate some of my financial burden. This is a very difficult post for me to write; I'm uncomfortable asking for help, but this is where I'm at... Desperate times...Desperate measures...
