My botched surgery

I had surgery done five years ago for a total hip replacement. During surgery the doctor compromised my femoral nerve. This was damaged so bad that I could not walk for a year and was in a wheelchair. I was told I would be back to normal in a year, then two, three and now my diagnosis is I have to live with it. Nice bedside manner. 

I have been on severe medications which cost $1200 a month and my credit cards are maxed, actually I owe $20,000.  I also spoke with six lawyers to take this case for me because I have been out of work for five years with no income at all. Each of these lawyers refused to take the case because they said that you have to prove malpractice and one here in Vero mentioned his son went to the same school as my doctors son so he could not help. 

My Social Security is $800 a month and  I was Forced into early retirement at 62 for some income. 

 I have been in deep depression and I'm on medication for this as well. I have acquired diabetes due to my inactivity. I am unable to walk up or down stairs at all and must use a cane at all times. Sitting at a computer is not an option either due to the referred pain. 

The nights are a nightmare.  I Do not sleep at night from the pain.....
I just cannot get back to HAPPY!

Just because someone is smiling on the outside does not mean that they are not sad on the inside.
