Support My Sister's Dream

Since she was 5-years-old, my sister Carissa Garcia always dreamed of going to “U C Owl Lay” (in her tiny voice). There have been many personal challenges along her path but I’m proud she has overcome them and completed her first year as a Doctoral Student at UCLA. She is the first college graduate in our immediate family and will be the first Doctor in our entire family.

Although completing her program rests on her shoulders, she needs as much financial support as possible. It hurts me to see Carissa work so hard and struggle to support herself. I am writing this in hopes of helping her get the funding she needs to finish this next school year so she can stay focused and continue earning her straight As.

It’s amazing to me that my little sister will be “Dr. Garcia.” I love her so much and I would like your help in funding her. My family is thankful to those who continue to support her empowerment through education.
