Savoy Sigmund Lightning Fire Evacuation Fund

We never thought we would have to rely on a donation site, but here we are. 

Our families have been evacuated for at least a month.  We have banded together in a couple motel rooms in Santa Cruz.  Together we are staying strong but quickly running out of resources. 
 
Here at the Motel is Myself (Wendy), my sister Autumn her husband Andrew, her two kids Kara and Megan, Matt, Landry and Tristan.  Remaining at the forefront of the fire is my son Tyler.  As of now he is being taken care of by the Fire department but I am not sure if he will be joining us at some point once the fire is out.  So that is 9 people.  We are paying for a motel rooms at $100 or more per night times three rooms.  The Motel is giving us an evacuation discount for which we are grateful.  We left everything behind so we need supplies and food.  

The fire was caused by never before seen dry lightning.  It swept our beautiful forest and was held at bay by our amazing volunteer fire department.  Tyler being one of them.   

We are very hopeful the town remains and Autumn and I's houses are intact.  So far that is the news we have received.  Unfortunately, Matt's house is most likely gone along with all his possessions and some of mine.  

Many friends and family have reached out asking how they can help.  We are so humbled by everyone's concern.  It was suggested that we start this go fund me, so we can get help paying for the rooms until we can return home.  

Any amount is extremely helpful.
