Hello everyone,
Our dear friend Anthony Lockhart has been living with a rare bone tumor disease on his skull called Fibrous Dysplasia since he was diagnosed at the age of 8 years old. Now at 19 years old, Anthony is about to face his 4th and most likley 5th surgery. His body has been rejecting the artifical bone attached to his skull since December, resulting in a dime sized hole on his scalp and a gnarly infection. His surgery date is set for September 18th with a goal to remove the pieces of bone holding the infction and clean the area. He will have a 6 month recovery time where he needs to take it easy and not bump his head. He is expecting 2 months of intensive recovery. 6 months after the first surgery in September he will be going back in to remove the remaining artifical bone, making sure the infection will not return. During this time Anthony is going to need some help. His medical bills will be growing, the cost of 6 months of antibiotics, recovery time and general rest for his head will be ecxpensive. We are asking you to donate what you can to help Anthony get through these surgeries.
