Now, his lively hood is in jeaprody as he battles severe Glaucoma that doesn't respond to treatment. The doctor says his eye has been "around the world" seeking input from specialists.
In less than 4 months he has had 8 eye surgeries and made 20+ trips to Green Bay, many of them overnight. During this time he has been spent most time sitting in the house - not even able to bend over to tie his shoes.
Needless to say it has been a long spring and winter. He lost the ability to run the sawmill and is hoping to be back grooming the snowmobile trails come winter.
But the medical bills are piling up and with a long, slow recovery ahead, he and Lisa are struggling to hold on everything they have worked so hard for.
Dennis is a hard working man who has always been the one helping others and never asking for help himself.
