Jimmy Fitzsimmons was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia on July 29th, and is receiving treatment at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He will be hospitalized throughout this course of treatment and receive outpatient care for several months after that. Jimmy is in the best facility for treating this type of cancer. He has responded quite well and his prognosis is very good.
