As a young and healthy individual, we never would have expected that an ER visit for abdominal pain would turn into a reality we never imagined facing. After two weeks of doctor visits, testing, procedures, and inpatient hospitalization, <strong>Jeremy was diagnosed with stage 4 colorectal cancer.</strong>

<div>Unfortunately, Jeremy currently has no insurance, which means all the necessary procedures, tests, and treatments—including upcoming radiation and chemotherapy—will have to be paid for out of pocket. Even once he secures coverage, we know that significant expenses will still be a reality. Despite the uncertainty and challenges that lie ahead, we are hopeful, determined, and positive that he will be able to defeat this disease.

<div>Jeremy is truly one of the kindest and most selfless individuals I have ever met. He embodies compassion and generosity, always putting others before himself. From a personal standpoint, he has been my rock for the past 5 years and my biggest support system while going through medical school and beginning medical residency. He willingly moved 1,000 miles away from his home to Michigan, even very well knowing he is a southern boy who hates the cold. His genuine care for family and friends shines through in every interaction, and he has a remarkable ability to uplift those around him. Jeremy is a positive light in the lives of everyone he meets, and his spirit inspires us all to be better.
