Toliver Headstones

If your parents, grandparents, or great-great grandparents are Burrell, Mildred, Willa Mae, or Leo, you will appreciate the rich legacy they inherited and  passed on.  Their father and mother, Burrell James Toliver and Elizabeth ( Lizzie Harris) laid a foundation for successful living  based on belief in God,  a strong family, and  hard work .  As evidence of this,  Burrell was a deacon, a dad, and a deed- holder, at a time when property ownership was difficult for blacks.
    
 "I never again want to search around in the dirt to find my grandparents' resting place  because they have no headstones to mark their graves," said one of Burrell and Lizzie's grandsons.
