Help Dora

Hi everyone, my sister(in law) Dora was diagnosed 3 years ago with Huntington Disease, for those of you who aren’t familiar, it’s a degenerative inherited disorder that results in the death of brain cells and eventually total incapacity and death.  

She has been living with me and my family for the past few months, unfortunately  we are no longer equipped to care for her evolving state of health.

We had to make the difficult decision to place her in a long term care facility at the young age of 53.  She moves in July 1!

Her disability pension, does cover most of her lodging and care expenses, however she is lacking the funds for her medications, personal hygiene, or a simple outing for a coffee.

I’m not asking for much, only what you are capable of contributing to the HELP DORA fund!!
