Wheels for Noah!

This is the vehicle we have chosen for Noah,  MV-1!

Please help us raise money to buy Noah a completely accessible van!  We would love to buy this van debt free!

Our story,

My name is Crystal and I am mom to Noah.  My husband (Jeff) and I have been married 12 years.  Our son Noah (9) was born 16 weeks early.  He weighed a little over a pound and as a result has cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus and is legally blind.

When Noah was born, we were told he had a 50/50 chance of surviving.  Jeff and I spent every waking moment we could with Noah in the NICU.  He was there for 6 months. Our stay in the NICU was a rollercoaster to say the least.   Noah underwent a heart surgery, 3 brain surgeries,  and 2 eye surgeries.  Noah also suffered a massive brain bleed which caused PVL (white matter brain death) in his entire frontal lobe.  We were told several times to come in and say our last goodbyes to our precious son.   However, Noah was one tough little boy and he never gave up.

If you have never met Noah you are missing out!  He will make you feel more loved in two minutes than most people can in a life time. He has a love for life that blows me away.  Noah is nothing short of inspirational, he makes me so proud.

While Noah was in the hospital we lived on our credit cards. We put our car payment, mortgage, utilities and anything we needed to get by on those cards.  We were in survival mode and didn't think how that would affect us later on.  We left the hospital 6 months later with a fragile little boy who faught like a giant, and a mountian of debt.

Thankfully when Noah turned 4 we decided we were sick and tired of being in debt and started following the dave ramsey plan!  We lived on bare minimum and worked extra jobs, and in 4 years we were able to say we were "DEBT FREE!!!!"

Now that we are debt free we will do anything to stay that way! That is why we are asking for help to purchase Noah an accessible vehicle.  The type we have chosen is called an MV-1.   We have chosen this vehicle for many reasons.  Here are the top three.  1.) The safety of this vehicle can't be beat.  There have been no modifications to this vehicle.   The structure has not been changed at all, it is built from the ground up with accessability.  Rust and costly repairs will not be in our future.    2.) There is a ton of room!  We are always hauling things.  The MV-1 has more cargo space than any other adapted vehicle on the market, that's huge for us!!   The space in it is incredible! 3.) It can tow up to 3500 lbs!  We love to camp!  Noah loves to get in his motorized wheelchair and explore new places!  We have a 17 year old tent trailer and are so excited we can still pull it!

With Noah's health and constant surgeries we want to be as carefull as we can with our finances and not take out a loan if we can avoid it.  We don't want the added stress of adding a car payment when we want to be able to be there with Noah when he has to tackle another  obstacle or undergo another surgery.

The bigger Noah gets the more and more I relize how badly we need this van. I imagine only for about another year will I be able to physically lift him into the vehicle.   Noah has no balance.  He cannot stand on his own.  He uses a walker for very short distances and a wheelchair for daily use.

We would like to set a goal to have this van in one year.  We have started saving and will continue to do so.  If your looking for a way to give and make a families life easier, consider helping us!!

Thanks!
