Relief for Puerto Rico, Hurricane Fiona
Donation protected
My name is Roman "Ito" Carrillo and I work at Fitness19 in Pleasanton as a personal trainer and I am also a musician. I am a native of Puerto Rico where on September 18, 2022 hurricane Fiona hit the island 5 years after Hurricane Maria. Homes were destroyed once again and the whole island was without power and shelter. I went when Maria hit the island and I am planning to go once again to try and bring some hope for as many people as I can. I will be bringing basic needs like water, canned food, flashlights, batteries, etc. I cannot do this alone and for this reason I am asking for your help. It will take a lot more than what I plan to raise but it will bring relief to many on the island. I have already made one trip and what I saw was sad. Even though I was able to help out 24 families with the help of my kids and grandchildren, that was not enough and that is why I plan to travel to Puerto Rico one more time in the month of July. So please consider donating to this cause and bring some hope to those who feel that they have been forgotten. My goal is $40,000 but whatever I take back I know the Lord will multiply. Thank you in advance and May the Lord multiply your giving and bless you abundantly.
At the moment that I was getting ready to go home I was recording a CD to help raise funds. At this moment that project is complete and anyone who donates will receive a copy. This is all original material from my family and I am positive that you will enjoy the contents. This project is focused on Puerto Rican folklore specifically Plena.
