A Cause for Cole...
My brother Cole Johansen who is 11 years old has been battling brain and spinal cord tumors called Low-Grade Gliomas for the past 2 years. He has endured 2 brain surgeries, countless visits to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and 21 months of chemotherapy treatments. After having a 3 month break from chemo this summer, my family unfortunately was notified that his brain tumor has grown in size and needs to start chemotherapy treatments again in the next week or so.
Cole is the bravest person I know and we all know this latest development is just another small bump in his road to recovery! During all of this chemotherapy Cole has continued to attend school, show dogs and even play Little League baseball!
I put this online campaign together to help raise money for Cole's medical bills, hospital visits and anything else that he might need during this next round of chemo. My parents Tom & Donna have been through so much in the past 2+ years with Cole and his diagnosis, the last thing I want them to worry about are these expenses while they make sure Cole gets better! I cannot thank family, friends and complete strangers for their ongoing support and generosity over the past 2 years...especially for donating to my online campaigns in the past for Cole!
