Hurricane Laura's devastation become real to the James and Mary Miller Family in Leesville, Louisiana. As the family assembled together in the master bedroom the wind and rain continued to increase uprooting several trees in the area. A large oak tree fell across the bedroom where the family was taking shelter from the storm pinning the family under limbs and debris. Cindy was pronounced deceased after a 5 hour rescue effort. Not only did the family lose their beautiful 14 year old daughter they lost their home as well. I'm not sure why the funds are on hold but I'm going to add everything it says I need to add. My name is Michelle Partridge. I live in Many, Louisiana. Cynthia is the 14 year old daughter of my cousin Mary and James Miller. The money raised will go towards burial, tombstone, repairing their home and car, it will also go to professional counseling for the family.
