Onion Creek Flood Victims NEED Help!!!

Donation protected
Cyndi Peterson and Sharon Ledden have lived in the 8700 block on Bluff Springs Rd. along Onion Creek for over 15 years. Bobbie Peterson, Cyndi's 89 year old mother, has lived with them for the last 4 years. On Halloween morning 2013 their home and belongings were ravaged by an unprecedented and historical flood that forever changed their lives. Unfortunately, they did not have flood insurance on their home. Cyndi and her mother have recently been recovering from surgeries and in need of medications and special healthcare. Sharon, who recently had hip replacement surgery, is the only one in the home who is able to work. They have lost everything from their cloths and furniture to their refrigerator, stove and vehicle. Their home is severely damaged, as the water rose over 5 feet inside their home in just minutes. On the morning of Halloween 2013, Cyndi, Sharon and 89 year old Bobbie climbed a ladder on the side of the house onto the roof as the water rose at an alarming rate. Several neighbors also took refuge on the roof along with Cyndi and Sharon's 5 dogs. When help arrived, they were rescued and the clean up began. Days later the reality set in.
Many wonderful people have started to help them clean up the debris but they need to rebuild their entire life. Your donation will go directly to these 3 flood survivors to help them pay for necessities, food, clothing, repairs and replacing the contents of their home.
