Cycling to Paris for The Ellie Soutter Foundation

Joe and I have decided to cycle from the tower bridge in London to the Eiffel tower in Paris for The Ellie Soutter Foundation.

The Ellie Soutter Foundation was set up in 2018 after the tragic death of a very close friend of mine on her 18th birthday. Ellie Soutter was one of the most progressive Junior Female Snowboard Athletes in Great Britain. She became Vice Champion of the world in the Junior Freeride World Tour in 2017. She was the winner of a bronze medal for Team GB at the 2017 European Youth Olympic Festival and was tipped to be one of Team GB’s strongest contenders for the 2022 winter Olympics.

The purpose of the Foundation is to identify and provide support, for young people, who have a demonstrable talent for winter sports, who would otherwise be unable to maximise their potential because of a lack of financial resources. This will be achieved by providing grants for equipment, training, travel, competing and accommodation. In addition the Foundation seeks to provide a mind and body wellness package to its athletes where we will provide access to therapist, chiropractors, and sports massages.
