Cycling to Hertfordshire for The Stubbington Ark (RSPCA)
Last year, I walked this 120 mile route over 3 days for DogsTrust, and I was delighted that we raised over £600! I am taking on this route once more, but this time I'll be joined with my friend Freya, aiming to cycle it in 12 hours or less from 7am on Saturday 14th September!
Our chosen charity this year is The Stubbington Ark (RSPCA), Fareham's Mayoral Charity. The RSPCA Solent Branch is the focus for local animal welfare services covering 400 square miles of Hampshire. Their animal centre 'The Stubbington Ark' provides care, rehabilitation and rehoming for all manner of animals including domestic, wildlife, stock, exotics and birds. RSPCA Solent Branch is a separately registered charity and they are completely self funded.
This will undoubtably be our biggest challenge yet. A heartfelt thank you from us both to everyone who has already offered encouragement and donated already – your support is greatly appreciated by the animals at Stubbington Ark!
