I am Joseph’s Mummy, and normally you would see his Dad riding epic miles dressed as a monkey on his BMX.  With the current Covid 19 climate and various events being cancelled where we were aiming to raise £10,000 or more, this charity needs you more than ever.

I am taking it in my own hands to raise money and it’s not going to be easy or pretty for me, albeit it’s only 30 miles with plenty of hills. (For all those that know me, can testify that this is a laughable thing for me to do)
It has resorted in me, a non-cyclist, cycling on a 24”BMX, dressed as a monkey, no gears, on a round trip St Austell to Truro on Saturday 6th June 2020. 

People ask me why I am doing it? 2nd December 2018, 21.03, my son Joseph was born, sleeping. Parents who have to go through this, never hear their baby’s cry, but only the weeping from themselves. Their baby will never see their parents, but they see them. Their perfectly formed features held in their arms. The grasp of their hand on your finger, the adoration and love for their baby there. A baby born sleeping before 24 weeks, legally does not exist. Not only a baby a family has lost, but also lost to the world forever. The mental and emotional pain is unbearable.

Rest With Joseph and Friends is a charity which we set up to provide a Burial Garden, dedicated to late miscarriage babies.

We are raising funds to purchase a plot of land where families can lay their beloved sleeping sons and daughters, born through late miscarriage, to rest. 

Please help us give these baby Angel’s a place to reside. A place to give comfort for grieving families. And a place to show the world our much loved babies existed with meaning and purpose.
