Losing my Father

Almost 3 years ago my Dad was diagnosed with skin cancer of the nose, what we thought would be a quick removal and would be over, turned into our worst nightmare. I have watched my hardworking, loving, strong Dad, disappear. He ended up with multiple different cancers of the head and neck, over 15 surgeries, and two rounds of radiation, then we found out it had spread to his lungs and was now stage 4, the only option was chemotherapy to suppress the cancer cells, to give him more time here with us. This past Monday we received the worst news yet, the chemotherapy is not working, there is nothing they can do, but keep him comfortable until it is his time to go. They have not given us a time frame, but the cancer on his neck, is more on the outer layer, rather than the inside, it can burst at anytime and he will bleed out without knowing and there will be nothing we can do. This is the hardest thing for any family to go through and having the extra stress of medical bills, living cost, and final expenses, and not knowing how we are going to do it. I am not the one to ever ask for a handout, but my father deserves the best care and the best service, he is an amazing man and has been so strong for so long. I understand that a lot of others are having hard times too, but anything helps, even just keeping us in your thoughts. Thank you to anyone who even takes the time to view this.
