<div>Kalwa brought extraordinary joy, a comforting presence, endless empathy, and passionate devotion to the communities she was involved in. Kalwa loved dancing. She began dancing from a young age, taking ballet classes and in her later years of life she fell in love with hip hop, jazz, and afrobeats, being a dancer with the Afro Dance and Culture Club at the University of Toronto.
