Rahway Ferals Need Help!

Our goal is to raise enough money to relocate our small colony of feral cats living behind an abandoned house to a cat sanctuary in NJ Where they will be safe!
Time is of the essence to relocate these cats for many reasons. Neighbors have complained to the health dept and reported the cats to animal control. The health dept has threatened to summon the feeder of this colony to court if they keep feeding. The cats currently live in the shed of an abandoned house that will eventually be torn down. The neighbors have talked about poisoning the cats, putting broken glass in tuna, and shooting the cats, and one neighbor has poured ammonia in their water in an effort to get rid of them.
The sanctuary requires a $250 donation per cat. We have currently relocated 6 cats to the sanctuary and are hoping to bring the rest there asap as well. All donations will go towards relocating the cats to the sanctuary. A local rescue group has offered to fund the rest of the cats getting fixed and vaccinated. The sanctuary requires all cats are fixed, up to date on shots, on flea meds and de wormed. They accept FIV cats but not FeLV cats. Thankfully we have not had a cat test positive for FeLV but we have had a few FIV.
