Michael Terry's Funeral Expense

As someone who doesn't ask for money or help, I'm not really sure where to start but here goes.  My Uncle Mike passed away late last night.  He was diagnosed with cancer about three weeks ago, and lost the battle last night.  On top of the cancer, his kidney that he received over 30 years ago, gave out on him late last year, forcing him back on dialysis.  Over the years, with the cost of prescriptions and other health complications that came from the transplant, Mike had to spend the majority of his life on disability. This meant that he never really had any extra money to put away for anything to include life insurance.  What Mike did have was a big heart and was willing to help anyone out with anything they needed.  My boys were lucky enough to spend lots of time with Uncle Mike, and got to know him for the loving person he was.  My family is seeking any help to offset some of the funeral costs, as there wasn't really any savings to pay for costs.  I wish I didn't have to post this, but my family isn't sure where else to turn.
