Elderly woman may lose her house

My mom’s friend is about to lose her home.

She is 83 years old and has always held a special 
place in my family’s heart. She has lived with her
best friend for the past 25 years. A couple of days
before Thanksgiving her roommate had a stroke. Ithas left her paralyzed on her left side. She will 
more than likely not come home.
These two women shared monthly expenses with 
their social security checks. The family of the roommate has taken over Power of Attorney. They 
immediately took our friend off the bank account. She can no longer pay bills with only her income.
Please help me keep this elderly very sweet 
woman in her home.
