Tanya was medically induced into a coma August 7th due to a massive infection in her throat. The doctors are uncertain as to the cause and are amazed she is still alive and fighting. Her airway was so swollen they were almost unable to intubate her at all. The doctor was able to creatively and inventively (most challenging of his career) intubate Tanya, thus saving her life. Tanya is still on life support, and has had very little improvement in the swelling and constriction of her airway. We do not know anything more than this. It has been eight days now, and the intubation can only extend to a maximum of 14 days, and other measures and procedures will have to be taken. We will keep you all updated daily. We know angels are watching over our beautiful fighter. Please keep Tanya in all of your thoughts and prayers. ❤️
As many of you know, Tanya is a single mother to Dylan, her adorable 5 year old son. Dylan is Tanya's entire world. Tanya provides a very loving, nurturing and caring home for Dylan and herself. She also faces daily financial struggles after leaving an unhealthy relationship a few years ago, but does the very best she can for her little family. It is unknown at this time how long she will be in the ICU, and her recovery time needed afterwards. Without being able to work at her full time job as the assistant manager for la Senza, her bills and expenses will be accumulating quickly. Please help support Tanya and Dylan in their time of need.
