El Fondo de Solidaridad para Refugiados Detenidos es una organización sin fines de lucro 501(c)3 que brinda apoyo económico y emocional a los inmigrantes detenidos por ICE. Cada semana, enviamos y recibimos docenas de cartas.

Además de esto, hacemos depósitos de $15 a los detenidos a quienes escribimos. Con este dinero, los refugiados pueden comprar alimentos, artículos de higene personales, llamadas telefónicas y otras necesidades. Aunque a los refugiados se les permite trabajar en los centros de detención, solo se les paga $ 1 por día. Como resultado, rara vez tienen suficiente dinero para satisfacer sus necesidades. Bajo estas condiciones, un depósito tan pequeño como $ 10 es muy útil y puede cambiar la vida.

Want to directly support immigrants detained by ICE during these trying times? Then consider making a donation!

The Detained Refugee Solidarity Fund is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that provides direct economic and emotional support to immigrants detained by ICE. Every week, we send and receive hundreds of letters from detainees, in which they tell their stories and build friendships with our volunteers.

On top of this, as needed, we make deposits of $10-$20 to the detainees we write to. With this money, refugees can buy food, toiletries, phone calls, and other necessities. Although refugees are allowed to work in the detention centers, they are only paid $1 per day. As a result, they rarely have enough money to meet their needs. Under these conditions, a deposit as small as $10 goes a long way and can be life-changing.

With over 50,000 people currently detained by ICE and COVID rapidly spreading inside detention centers, we need your help more than ever. Any amount helps.

100% of the money raised will go towards paying for mailing supplies (envelopes, printing, stamps) and depositing funds to the commissary accounts of detained immigrants.
