Dave and Dale Anderson Flood Relief Fund

Donation protected
On  May 19th the Edenville dam failed sending 21 billion gallons of water from Wixom Lake into the Tittabawassee River. This, in turn, caused the Sanford Dam to fail and the resulting flood waters consumed our parents, Dave and Dale Anderson's Midland, MI home of 44 years as well as Dad's workshop. The red line in the photo indicates where the water level reached at its highest, resulting in over 4+ feet of water throughout the house. This flood has destroyed all of their belongings (except a few contents of upper cabinets) and caused the house to be unlivable.

After weeks of long, hard days, and help from friends and strangers alike, the house has been gutted to prevent further damage from mold. Now we have a long wait and the navigation of many government obstacles before we can determine next steps or if any financial help exists.

This situation is just difficult.

Friends and family from far way have asked if they can help, so we created this GoFundMe to help them begin to rebuild their lives. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they navigate what the future holds and consider contributing if you are able. Thank you!
