Global Medical Brigades in Honduras

Dear friends and family,
After an absolutely amazing missions trip to Costa Rica this past August, God has given me yet another opportunity to serve internationally. This May, I will be travelling to Honduras with Miami University's Global Medical Brigades. In Honduras, we will be setting up a free medical clinic in a local neighborhood to provide care to the citizens that would otherwise not be able to access or afford it. In addition to healthcare, we will be providing medical necessities and lessons so that they can continue to live as healthily as possible in their conditions.
On this one week trip, I will get to shadow and assist licensced doctors, physicians, and pharmacists. This is an incredible opportunity to further my studies in the medical field while pursuing my passion of serving in third-world countries.
However, this privilege comes at a cost: $1675. This pretty large price tag covers the program fee, airfare, and various other necessities and supplies needed for the trip.
