At the age of 11, I was introduced to the sport of lacrosse. Before I even knew the rules, I was in love. I was one of the first members of North Rockland's Youth Lacrosse program and I have been playing ever since. My goal of playing college lacrosse has come true. I am a junior on the Women's Lacrosse team at St. Thomas Aquinas College. Now onto my next goal. I have been given the opportunity to play for the USA Athletes International Women's Lacrosse team. June of 2015, I will be traveling to Scotland to compete with teams from around the world. I am very proud to represent the United States as a part of the USA Athletes family. This will be a life changing experience for my teammates and I. This trip will allow me to not only gain an athletic experience like no other, but I'll also take home the educational interaction through learning and sharing in another country's culture. In order to pursue this once in a lifetime opportunity, I need support in fundraising for this trip. Any support to bring my two loves, travelling and lacrosse, together is greatly appareciated.
