Thriving in Place: bringing Nan Gill home!

Since the moment we met them, Nan and Steve Gill have been caring for each one of us. Now, it is our chance to give back to them.
In November, Nan suffered an acute stroke that impaired her left arm and leg. She will be coming home from the rehab facility in the next few weeks, hopefully before Christmas. A care team of friends from church is set up to help her transition comfortably to the home she loves. But, we need your help.
We are working with Steve to renovate the first-floor laundry room into a full bath, accessible by a wheelchair or walker. We are also moving the back door to the side and installing a ramp to the new back door. Donations will go to the construction supplies, fixtures, and direct payments to the contractor and tradespeople.
We know that so many of you have been blessed by Nan and Steve over the years: homecooked meals, use of Steve's truck, and Steve's handyman and construction help.
Would you consider blessing them with a small donation to help cover the costs of this important project?
If we raise over the $20,000, any extra funds will go toward Nan's medical bills, therapy, and care when she gets home.
