Get Back On Our Feet 4 Son

My family needs help getting back on our feet so that we can make sure this beautiful angel can have a good start for his future. I'm a marine that spent a year in Iraq in 2005-2006 before getting out of the Corps in 2006.  After I got back from Iraq I had began drinking and fighting often due to things I had seen and been through.  Since the military had over recruited at that time, the government was looking to thin the numbers. So I left the marine corps with a General Discharge rather than the government helping me with my problems that were caused from Iraq.  There are jobs that I can't get due to disability from Iraq, but since I didn't get an honorable discharge due to underage drinking and fighting after iraq, I cannot get tuition assistance or disability. My son lives with me and his grandma in her home.  She was fired from a position at city hall because she wouldn't just keep her mouth shut when higher ups would do illegal things with city money. Being treated poorly at a job she was at for over 20 years, combined with medical issues, caused her to go into depression. That combined with her medical issues has caused her to be unable to work while she is trying to get treatment for her medical issues. The government has denied her disability. She is in a lawsuit with city hall for illegally firing her, but that will take years before she receives any money from that. I am going to college for welding to get a better job to support my family, but with no tuition assistance from the government after over 3 years of service and a year in Iraq, medical bills, childcare, and living expenses, we are slipping further into debt each month.  I have decided to ask others for help in a time when my pride wouldn't let me because I have to set that aside for my son and his future.  My job isn't even close to enough to helping get us back on our feet and it's another year before I will graduate and my college will be able to help me get a job.  If you donate to help my family, your money will go towards our house payment as we're on the brink of foreclosure, living expenses to keep our lights on and water running, a used transmission to replace the one thats messed up in our car, babyfood for my son as WIC doesn't give you everything you need, gas for me to go to college and work, and medical expenses.  The government has let both of us down, her for being too good of a person to look the other way and me for seeing too much in the Marines as a teenager to return the same.  We need help so we can keep our house, and please know that I'm not doing this for me or even my mother, but for my son and his future.
