Helping Emily

July 29,2018
The day was just like any other day, we decided to go to the lake for a girls day out before all the girls started college.
We got floaties, food and we were ready for a day at the lake.
At approximately 12:02 our world was about to be changed.
My youngest daughter was struck by a jet ski, and life flighted to Vanderbilt. That moment, that scene, and seeing her lifeless body floating in the water was a moment I will never be able to get out of my head. If it wasn't for the nurse and paramedic, who was there enjoying a day out with their families,  along with the countless others who helped that day, Emily would not be here.
We went from not knowing if she was going to make it through the night to, taking it day by day.
But my baby is a tough fighter,
From the brain bleed, to the busted arm, not being able to walk with her right leg and numerous other injuries, she's had a long recovery process ahead of her. She's currently in physical therapy, she's has had  numerous surgeries and still needs a few more to get somewhat full function back in her right arm.
She's 19, starting her life.
She's had to put off college and doing normal thing that kids her age are doing.
We are hoping that after this next surgery on her arm and after some physical therapy,  she will be able to use her right arm.
This is to help with her medical bills.
Any bit helps.
Thank you
